The same hemp/cotton yarn Kombinat Konopny uses for its own sweaters and hats. The hemp is grown and spun near Elbląg, Poland.

Three strands twisted together make a strong yarn that resists breaking and fraying. It holds its structure, so stitch patterns stay crisp and defined — good for hats, scarves, sweaters, bags, dishcloths, rugs, and macramé. Like everything hemp, it softens with each wash and use.

50% Hemp, 50% Cotton. 100 g skein, approx. 300 m (328 yd). 3-ply (3 x 100 tex).

Gauge reference: about 22 stitches per 10 cm (4 in) in garter stitch on 4 mm (US 6) needles. Swatch before you start.
